Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years practical experience on automotive manufacturing.
· Strong focus on assembly and assembly experience required
· Gear cutting and grinding experience a key asset.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A credited CNC Machining Program course, or equivalent experience.
· Must deal well with people and assist in coordinating their activities.
· Must work shifts.
· Able to interpret drawings and blueprints.
· Mechanically inclined.
· Knowledge of SPC.
· Positive attitude towards new ideas.
· Loyal attitude toward the company.
· Be quality conscious.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as the coordinating resource for the supervisor.
· Effectively communicate build requirements.
· Train new employees on job specifics and safety.
· Work to close tolerances.
· Ensure that employees have necessary tooling, gauging and information to do the job.
· Keep production levels at full capacity.
· Ensure material is properly identified.
· Ensure work area is kept tidy.
· To continuously improve all areas of operations: safety, quality and productivity.
