Our client, a reputable manufacturing company is looking for a RELIABILITY ENGINEER to join their team.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years minimum experience in Reliability Engineering role in the automotive industry. Experience in Quality would be an asset too.
• Experience in applying Reliability / Key Life Testing methodologies to Power train applications
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, either high or low pressure casting, molding, machining assembly, testing and gauging
Technical Skills Requirements
• Knowledge of the tools used in the field of Reliability Engineering including; SOR reviews, Risk Analysis, Parameter Diagrams, Boundary Diagrams, Interface Analysis, Noise Factor Matrix, DFMEA, DVP&R, DOE, ALT, HALT, HASS, Statistical Analysis (Weibull, Normal, Log-Normal,), Key Life Testing
• Working knowledge of TS16949, APQP procedures, Reliability Engineering, Supplier Management, Blueprint Reading, Advanced Measuring Techniques, Computer Literate
• Ability to review and critique 3D CAD models, as well as 2D detailed engineering prints for conformance to Design Statement of Requirements
• Ability to develop Parameter Diagrams, Boundary Diagrams, Interface Analysis, Noise Factor Matrix, FTA, DFMEA and DVP&R
• Ability to prepare and conduct customer presentations on PowerPoint
• Ability to discuss, direct and participate in technical discussions surrounding Reliability and Robustness of Product Design
• Familiarization with customers’ systems and methodologies in Reliability Methods would be an asset
• Experience and/or knowledge in the application of GD&T, QFD, DFM, DFA, DFS, VE/VA, PFMEA, Floor Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans.
